Connaught Place is the city’s central part, surrounded by two folds of circles of buildings made in the reign Mughals in India. Today, Connaught Place is a very crowd place. This place is very famous for :

1. Palika Bazaar ( Palika Market) – An underground market , at central circle of New Delhi. You must know how to do bargain if you ever think to buy any goods here. The price most of the time, based on my experience, they raise by 200-300 % + above. If you are white skin or black skin, chance of you being robbed by shop keepers is much. So, its better if you know Hindi if not at least you should learn bargaining before shopping here.
